The government in Botswana is presidential representative democratic republic. The president of Botswana is head of the state and head of the government. Government of Botswana has executive power; Legislative power exercised by both government and legislative assembly. The judiciary system is free from government and legislatures. Botswana administration is divided into nine districts- Central, Ghanzi, Kgalagadi, Kgatleng, Kweneng, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, Southern. Botswana is a member country of international organizations like African Union, Commonwealth of Nations, International Criminal Court, and United Nations.
The economy of Botswana largely depends on mining, services, construction, manufacturing and agriculture. After independence, Botswana has achieved fastest growing per capita GDP.
